Johnson’s Auto Repair is at 571 Crane St STE I in Lake Elsinore, in the Central Business Park, about half a mile from the Central Avenue exit on I-15. Most of our customers live in Lake Elsinore, and many drive in from the towns around it. Here’s how far the shop is from each one and the easiest way to get here. Distances are by car from each town’s center (Google Maps, November 2026); drive times depend on traffic.
Lake Elsinore
We’re on Crane Street, just off Central Avenue, a short drive from the lake, Lakeland Village and the neighborhoods off Grand Avenue and Railroad Canyon Road. If you’re local, you can drop your car off in the morning and we’ll call you with a written estimate before any work starts. Our family has run the shop since 2012, and our ASE-certified technicians work on all major foreign and domestic makes.
Wildomar
About 9 miles. Take I-15 north to the Central Avenue exit in Lake Elsinore, then follow Central Avenue to Crane Street. It’s one of the shortest drives to us from outside Lake Elsinore.
Canyon Lake
About 11 miles by Railroad Canyon Road. Railroad Canyon Road brings you to I-15; from there it’s a short way north to Crane Street.
Menifee
About 12 miles. Take Newport Road west to Railroad Canyon Road, continue to I-15 north and follow it to Crane Street. Allow extra time on Railroad Canyon Road at rush hour.
Murrieta
About 13 miles straight up I-15 north. Take the Central Avenue exit in Lake Elsinore, and the shop is about half a mile away.

Coming from out of town
- Book ahead. Request a time online or call (951) 445-8055, so we can plan your visit. We’ll call or text you to confirm.
- Drop off early. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Dropping off in the morning gives us the day to look at your car.
- Approve the work by phone. You get a written estimate before any work starts, and we don’t go beyond what you approve, so you don’t have to wait at the shop.
- If your car isn’t safe to drive, have it towed to 571 Crane St STE I, Lake Elsinore. We don’t tow, but we’ll take it from there. Call us first so we know it’s coming.
- Outside our hours, leave a request on the website or call; our phone assistant takes your details and the team gets back to you the next business day.
